FAU (Certificate of Paralegal), 2007
Combining a sharp eye for detail with a steadfast dedication to our clients, Renee has been an indispensable member of the Gasman Law team since its founding. A certified paralegal since 2007, she deftly manages discovery, conducts research, assists with the drafting of legal documents, and supports our attorneys in trial preparation.

Renee’s accomplishments, however, not only go far beyond that of a typical paralegal, they would be the envy of many a seasoned attorney. Most notably, she has made remarkable contributions to the innocence movement, providing critical research and insight on multiple high-profile cases, all done pro bono. As a result, she featured prominently in an episode of CNN’s Death Row Stories, produced by Academy Award winner Alex Gibney. She will also appear in the upcoming 6-part documentary, The Miramar Murders, expected to be released in late 2020 on Netflix.

When not in the office, Renee dedicates much of her time to local animal rescue organizations. Never afraid of a challenge, she often takes on “extreme rescues”, caring for animals that have been severely injured, mistreated, and malnourished.
